Single Supplements
Single rooms are available but normally come with an additional supplement dependant upon the break booked. This will be confirmed to you at the point of booking via the website, promotional material, or by a consultant on the telephone, before any payment is processed.
Child Offers
Children aged 15 and under can stay free subject to the break booked or receive substantial savings. This will be specified on the website or with the consultant at the time of Enquiry/Booking. Children only stay free or qualify for the applicable discount when sharing a room with 2 full paying adults and the discounted rate only applies to accommodation. Any food is charged as taken, paid direct to the hotel.
Booking Details
Once a booking has been made with Best British Breaks you will receive confirmation of your booking either by post or email. Details of the break booked will include payment receipt as well as directions to your chosen destination.
Once you have made a booking with us, the relevant hotels terms will apply to your booking and a separate contract between you and the hotel will be formed.
Our contract with you is for the supply of agency services that we provide to you in arranging your break. If at any time there is a discrepancy between our terms and the hotels contract, the hotel’s contract will take priority. The hotel’s terms can be obtained, for example via their website or alternatively we will be happy to provide them to you upon request.
Check-in
You will be notified of check-in and check-out times with your full confirmation. We recommend that if you are due to arrive late or after 9pm, that you contact the hotel direct, so that alternative arrangements can be made, if necessary.
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your booking this must be done via Best British Breaks not the hotel booked. All cancellations must be made in conjunction with the Hotels individual policy which will be outlined to you at the time of booking or no less than 7 days prior to arrival.
All bookings with Best British Breaks are either paid in advance or a deposit paid of 17.63% of the total cost (non refundable deposit) of the booking in both cases any cancellation by you will be subject to the 17.63% cancellation charge. This will be confirmed to you during your booking as well as laid out in these terms and conditions.
If you do not show up to your booking/hotel this is described as a "No Show" and you will loose up to 100% of the booking value.
Amendments
At any time should you need to amend your booking, break dates or change Hotel or destination, this is subject to a £15.00 amendment fee payable per amendment, and subject to availability. If your amendment cannot be processed for the above reason your original booking stands or you may cancel subject to the terms above.
Online Bookings
Please take note that on all online orders you will receive a corroborating email stating that we have received your booking/request and that we are dealing with it. Your booking is only processed when we send you a Confirmation, including your individual Booking Reference Number. You also have the option of making a booking by phone where your booking can be confirmed at the point of contact.
Insurance
Best British Breaks do not provide Travel Insurance but strongly recommend that on all breaks taken appropriate Insurance is taken out to protect you against all unforeseen circumstances.
This is especially recommended to those arranging a group booking, as no refunds are made for cancelled group bookings by the client. |

Credit Card Charge
On all Credit Card Payments Best British breaks charge a minimum £2.50 Credit Card Charge or 1.5% of the booking total whichever is the greatest, this is outlined to you at the time of booking. All Debit Cards have no charge levied.
Certain hotels may levy their own card charges for items purchased direct with them. Best British Breaks have no control over this and cannot take any responsibility for these charges. We recommend that you enquire direct with the hotel, prior to purchasing anything on your card.
VIP Discounts
All Bookings made with BBB qualify for VIP Membership. To receive appropriate discounts, bookings must be made by phone, as they cannot be processed online at present.
Group Bookings
Group Bookings have there own Terms and Conditions and this will be outlined at the time of booking and sent out with the confirmation.
The term Group Bookings are determined by the number of adults in a single booking. Ten or more adults will be deemed a group booking and are therefore subject to Group Booking Terms. These are available upon request but you should note that all group bookings cancelled will be charged to you in full. There will be no refunds on any group booking cancelled by yourself.
Services Not Taken
Best British Breaks cannot give refunds for any service/meals not taken at the Hotel.
Best British Breaks cannot be held responsible for any services not being available or being out of action at your specific hotel, we also cannot be held responsible for any personal loss, costs, or damages incurred as a result of using Best British Breaks Ltd.
Force Majeure
Best British Breaks Ltd shall not be liable for this agreement being void due to force majeure event without limitation government intervention, wars, civil unrest and commotion, hijacking, accident, storm, lockouts affecting Best British Breaks and its suppliers.
Events at the Hotel
Beauty, Golf and other events need to be booked direct with the Hotel, we cannot guarantee these services and times. These arrangements must be done by the customer with the Hotel prior to arrival to guarantee the service required.
Customer Service & Complaints
Best British Breaks prides it self on its Customer Service but in the unlikely event your break has not lived up to your expectations we ask that you raise any issue immediately on site at the hotel, giving them a chance to rectify any problem. If you are still unhappy then we ask that you put your complaint in writing to us and we will endeavour to raise all your issues to the hotel within 28 days of receiving your complaint. We act as an intermediary and should you not be satisfied with any answer to your complaint, you must take this further with the hotel concerned, as explained in this document under the title Booking Details.
Special Offers/Promotions
Some hotels offer more than one promotion at a time. It may not be possible to combine offers, where this is the case Best British Breaks will always try and offer the customer the most advantageous.
Subject to Availability
All bookings and promotions are subject to availability at the time of booking.
Best British Breaks reserve the right to amend, or withdraw any offers from promotional material and website at any time.
Changes to Terms & Conditions
Best British Breaks reserves the right to change or amend these terms from time to time.
